Q. How do I order a sample?
A. We prefer to receive sample requests by either fax or e-mail, at least when we have it in writing there is less chance of mistakes being made. Naturally if you are unable to send a fax or e-mail please phone us on 01689 898 828.
Q. How do I place an order?
A. All orders must be in writing on corporate letterheaded paper or your standard company purchase order. We can accept either of these via e-mail, fax or post.
Q. I am not in the United Kingdom can I still buy from Calver?
A. Naturally, we welcome orders from anywhere in the World. There may be certain export restrictions on some items. Delivery times will be longer and more costly than usual UK domestic deliveries.
Q. Can I collect my order?
A. We cannot give you simple yes or no answer for this. We do not want to appear awkward but logistically this can be difficult. We feel that our courier/delivery charges are quite competitive so it will usually be just as cost effective for us to deliver goods for you. Please call us to discuss this option when placing your order.
Q. I would like one of your representatives to visit us?
A. That would be a pleasure. We are based in Kent so it may take us a few days to arrange a suitable appointment if you are not in London or the South East. Outside the UK - generally we would not be in a position to send a representative but we would certainly like to visit you given the right opportunity.
Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Currently we accept credit card payments on websites orders only. For all other orders we would request that you pay by either bank transfer (BACS) directly to our account or by company cheque.
Q. How long will my order take to be completed?
A. This very much depends on the type of products. We will usually confirm a production time when quoting for the product. Standard production times for most stock products is 2 – 4 weeks from receipt of order & artwork but it is best to double-check delivery times with us before confirming your order. Imported and some bespoke products can take anything from 4 – 12 weeks depending on the type of product and quantity required. For example large items such as conference bags will be brought by sea-container from the Far East so this can extend normal lead-times by about 4 weeks.
Q. How should I supply artwork?
A. If you could supply your artwork in one of the following formats, that would be great:
Adobe Illustrator EPS, with all text converted to outline.
High resolution print ready PDF, with embedded images (of at least 300dpi resolution) and all text converted to outline.
If you have any other formats let us know and we will see what we can do.
We have templates available of all products showing print areas. If you are preparing your own artwork let us know and we will send over the relevant templates
If you do not have artwork facilities in house or know an experienced graphic designer, we would be pleased to create artwork for you. There may be an additional charge for this service, however a price would always be quoted and agreed with you before any work is carried out.
